Avalon Peak’s transitional housing is about YOU! That’s right, you—the Member—are the most important part of the equation.
A recovery residence, or sober home, is a safe and supportive environment where you can get back on your feet after a stay at rehab, or halfway housing.
It is not always necessary for an individual to have gone to rehab or halfway housing in order to access the benefits of a sober living environment.
Sometimes, people are out there trying to do it on their own, but are having a hard time with the negative people, places, and things that still surround them. Anyone who is serious about following their path of Recovery and personal growth is the right fit for our residence.
Some sober homes have different rules than others, but usually the basics include: No drugs or alcohol… No theft… No violence. The property must be kept clean and clutter free. And members are expected to follow all other specific program rules.
If you or a loved one could benefit from the supportive, growth centered structure of a sober home, please consider Avalon Peak. We are located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in a quiet residential neighborhood. Come experience a place that puts YOU first.
